Accredidation/Memberships

Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf is a national membership organization representing the professionals who facilitate communication between people who are Deaf or hard of hearing and people who hear. Interpreters serve as professional communicators in a vast array of settings such as: churches, schools, courtrooms, hospitals and theaters, as well as on political grandstands and television. RID’s function is to support their membership by providing the foundation needed to launch and sustain careers while ensuring quality service to the Deaf community.

Minnesota Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf is a state affiliate chapter of the national organization, the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). As the professional association for sign language interpreters in the state of Minnesota, it is their goal to provide a structure for the continued growth and development of the professions of interpretation of American Sign Language and transliteration of English.

The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic network of businesses and individuals organized to deliver economic opportunity for its members. More than 1,200 Twin Cities companies of all sizes and industries, as well as not-for-profit and government organizations, belong to the Chamber.

Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities – CVI believes in excellence and quality of services which is why we will be pursuing CARF accreditation. CVI has submitted their intent for survey. The survey date will take early in the year of 2013. Ongoing progress of the accreditation process will be posted on the website.
