DeafBlind Awareness Training for Employers, Schools, Agencies & Interpreters

Steve Oglesbee, the DeafBlind Specialist at CVI provides workshop and in-service trainings for employers, schools, agencies, or interpreters who are interested in working with the DeafBlind population. Steve is also available to present as a guest speaker for those who are interested in learning more about the DeafBlind experience.

For Law Enforcement & Public Safety

Wendy DeVore, the Organizational Executive of Career Ventures, Inc. served as a former sworn police officer and founded the Deaf SAFE program with the Minneapolis Police Department, a community policing outreach program to the Deaf Community. Trainings are available to law enforcement and public safety agencies alike. Trainings are designed to meet the needs and time requirements of the agency.

For members of the Deaf and DeafBlind Community and Hard of Hearing Individuals
